Once a year, every year, y!Gallery runs a drive that allows users that have been suspended or banned from the site due to Terms of Service violations to be given a chance to return. That time is now! Forgiveness 2009 is now running. This offer is available until 15 January 2009. Just fill out the short form and we will send you an email if your account is unsuspended.

The Yaoifest Web site is now at yaoifest.com, so if you want to know more about it, go there instead. They've also set up a Yaoifest club right here on y!Gallery, if you like it that way better.

snowcalico and kidavi have retired from the moderation staff. Give them best wishes for the future! Taking up their big shoes are three new moderators, Korde, ???, and ???. You've probably seen them all already helping out in the Gallery Star Runners club, but be sure to give them all warm welcomes just the same. Alarchimaru also got an upgrade for their years of continued service.

Let your friends know, that thing we normally do around this time of year is going to be back soon, so be ready for it! I'll make another announcement soon about it. Staff will also be having a meeting sometime (hopefully soon; whenever I manage to carve out a workable time for everyone) to discuss changes in the upcoming year, so if you have any suggestions, leave them in the comments.

If you've got a couple extra dollars burning a hole in your pocket, we've got a small budget deficit, so anyone that wants to help shore that up and keep the site running can go to the budget announcement and send a donation. On a related note, if you'd like to run banners instead of (or in addition to) a donation, contact Alarchimaru and he'll get that all set up for you.
